Meet new people, build friendships and enjoy fun social experiences with MyNight Out, our Lifestyle social group. Activities have included club catch-ups, movies in the park, festivals, markets and live shows.

Friday night club catch-ups are a regular favourite, often with live music. Other options might include free community events, markets, festivals and ticketed shows throughout the month.

How MyNight Out works

Where
Venues vary depending on the event. Most recent MyNight Out activities have been around Redlands and Brisbane’s bayside, with the location included in each listing.
Getting there
Pick-up and transport can be arranged for most events. Check the listing or contact us for pick-up details and times.
Support
One-to-one and group support options are available. Group support may be offered at ratios of 1:2 or 1:3, depending on final booking numbers.
Availability
Some events have limited places, so we recommend booking early to secure your spot.

What an event costs

The listed price covers entry to the event. If anything else is included, we’ll let you know in the event listing. Meals, drinks, rides, souvenirs and other extras aren’t included, so you may like to bring spending money for these.

If there is a kilometre charge for transport to an event, we’ll share this cost wherever possible to help keep it affordable.

Your NDIS Core funding may be able to cover the support you receive at an event. Check with your Support Coordinator to make sure you have enough funding available and that your plan covers both support and kilometre costs.

If you’re not sure what your plan covers, call us before you book and we can talk it through with you. This funding information is current as at August 2026.

Questions people ask us

Can I use NDIS funding for MyNight Out?

Your NDIS plan may cover the disability-related support you need to take part in MyNight Out events, depending on your funding and NDIS requirements. Event costs such as tickets, meals, drinks and other personal spending are paid by you. If transport is required, kilometre charges apply in line with the current NDIS price guide. Where transport is shared by more than one participant, the kilometre cost will be divided between participants. We’ll explain all support, transport and event costs before you book.

Do I need to bring money to a MyNight Out event?

Listed prices cover entry only, so feel free to bring a little spending money for meals, drinks, rides or souvenirs. Some listings ask you to bring funds for dinner, and a few include a meal. Each listing says what's covered.

How do I book a place at a MyNight Out event?

Bookings are required for all activities. Call us on 1300 694 674 or make an enquiry, and we'll go through what's coming up with you.

What happens to a MyNight Out event if the weather is bad?

A few activities may depend on the weather. We'll keep you updated with any changes closer to the day.

Support options may include one-to-one, one-to-two or one-to-three support, depending on your needs, funding, final bookings and staff availability. We will confirm the support arrangement and cost before you book.
